The book examines a wide range of issues related to the transformational changes that occurred mainly in the countries of North Africa, as well as the Horn of Africa and wider - the Middle East in the 2000s. An analysis of the causes and consequences of the unprecedented political upheavals that led to the fall of the ruling regimes in a number of countries in the region is presented. The author examines the processes of adjusting the domestic and foreign policy, especially the ongoing social, economic and political reforms.
The article analyzes the impact of transformational changes on the state and development prospects of a large group of studied states on international relations in the region, their relationship with local, regional and global conflicts, and in general with international security problems.
