The work reflects the most acute problems associated with the possibility of African countries to implement the global project of the Sustainable Development Goals. The issues of social, economic and political development of the states of the continent are considered in the context of food and national security. Special attention is paid to factors of maintaining internal stability and social policies pursued by the governments of individual countries, as well as climatic factors that have a direct impact on the future of the continent.
