The staff of the Institute congratulates Dr. Vladilen Ivanovich Gusarov on his 85th birthday

Vladilen Ivanovich Gusarov was born in 1934 and graduated from the Moscow State Economic Institute in 1957. In 1957-1967 he worked in the State Committee for Foreign Economic Relations on the provision of economic assistance to Arab and African countries.

In 1966 he defended his thesis and in 1967 he transferred to the scientific work in the Research Institute for Market Research. From 1970 to the present, he has been working at the Institute for African Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
