Background:
1972 - graduated from Moscow State University, Faculty of Journalism.
1972-1975 – PhD. Student of the Institute for Social Studies.
1975 – PhD (History).
1975-1991 – Lecturer, , senior lecturer, associate professor of the Social Psychology Department of the Institute for Social Studies
1978-1979 – auditor of the Faculty for further training for the MSU professors (specialization in Psychology).
1983 – associate professor of the Social Psychology Department.
1991-1992 – associate professor of the Department of applied political sciencesof the Fund for Social Political Research.
1992-1996 – expert of the international Fund of Socio-economic and political research (Gorbachev-Fund)
1993-1996 – associate professor at the Section of the political science of the Department of the national history of the Russian State Humanitarian University.

From 1993 – participation in the research programs of the Centre for Civilizational and Regional Studies, Institute for African Studies, Russian Academy of Sciences,, Took part in such programs as “Archaic syndrome as a detonator of the socio-political instability in the post-Soviet world”, supported by the RussianHumanitarian Scientific Foundation. (In the framework of those programs she participated in scientific conferences on Muslim-Christian borders in Moscow, Kazan, Saint-Petersburg, Astrakhan, Bishkek, as well as in the international scientific conference “National renaissance, civilization specificity, and the processes of international integration” – Minsk,May 1996 ) and the program on the research of the post-Soviet Eurasian space, supported by INTAS.

In 1998-2000- director of the Research Project “Socio-political identification of the personality in the conditions of a socio-cultural crisis”. (Grant project “Russian Universities. Fundamental Research”).
Field of the investigation at the moment: “Cultural-psychological basis of the political process”. In terms of this work a lot of attention is paid to studying modern cultural and political myths.
