Unfortunately, Russian-African conferences, especially so large, have never been frequent phenomena of scientific life, recently they have become even less frequent. At the same time, the conference, “Africa: History and Results of Decolonization (For the 60th anniversary of the UN "Declaration on the Granting of Independence to Colonial Countries and Peoples)” held on November 2-5, during which about 50 reports were heard and discussed, clearly showed how important such scientific forums are.
