February 25, 2020 “Asia and Africa. International cooperation: past, present and future”
On February 25, 2020, the Institute for African Studies hosted the Inter-Institute Conference of Young Scientists of the Russian Academy of Sciences "Asia and Africa. International Cooperation: Past, Present and Future", jointly organized by the Council of Young Scientists of the Institute and the Council of Young Scientists of the Institute of Far East RAS. Within the framework of the presented reports and the subsequent discussion, the interaction of the countries of Asia and Africa in the economic, social and political spheres was examined, the nature and scale of bilateral ties between the leading countries and their groups among themselves, the goals and mechanisms of their interaction, including the identification of practices applicable in Russian-African and Russian-Asian international cooperation.
