The results of the presidential elections of 2018 in the Democratic Republic of the Congo

December 30, 2018 in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) held presidential, parliamentary elections, as well as local government elections. These were the third democratic elections in the Republic (the first in 2006, the second in 2011). They took place on the backdrop of a tough competition for power among the Congolese political elite.
