The monograph is devoted to the analysis of relations between the Republic of South Africa and the European Union at the present stage. The author moves from studying the history of South Africa’s interaction with the EU and individual European countries to a modern state of cooperation, examining in detail the Agreement on Trade, Development and Cooperation (TDCA) in terms of benefits for both parties and evaluating the prospects of South Africa as a strategic partner of the EU in Africa .
