The collection of articles deals with the economic, political and ideological (religious as well) aspects in the history of independent Senegal. The author examined the historical role and the literary heritage of Sengor L.S. – the first state’s president. The foreign policy is considered with a particular attention, specifically its intervention to Gambia, the author gives an opinion on this politics in the context of the international law and the principle of state sovereignty in particular.
