Institute of Oriental Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences marks the bicentenary

From 29 to 30 October 2018, the bicentennial congress of the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences took place. Founded in 1818, the Institute of Oriental Studies of RAS received wide international recognition as one of the leading scientific centers in the world. The Institute of Oriental Studies of RAS celebrates its bicentennial anniversary. President Vladimir Putin sent greetings to the participants and guests of the forum.
