Memorandum of understanding between the government of the Russian Federation and the Southern African Development Community

On October 23 the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov met with the Executive Secretary of the Southern African Development Community (SADC) S. Tax, who arrived in Moscow on a working visit.

Sergey Lavrov and S. Tax signed a Memorandum of understanding between the government of the Russian Federation and the Southern African Development Community on the basics of interaction and cooperation. The Director of the Institute for African Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Corresponding Member of RAS, D.Sc. (Econ.), Professor I.O. Abramova took part in the signing of the memorandum.
