Presidential elections were held in Guinea on October 18, 2020. The 82-year-old incumbent President Alpha Conde (Malinki) was elected the Head of the State for a third term, previously he had won twice - in 2010 and 2015. Candidate of the ruling Rally of the Guinean People (RPG) party, he received about 59.5% (2,438,815 votes); Condé's main rival, leader of the opposition Union of Democratic Forces of Guinea (UFDG), Prime Minister from December 9, 2004 to April 5, 2006, Cellou Dalein Diallo (68 years old, Peul) received 33.5% (1,372,920 votes)
